WELCOME to Ramsbottom - an unspoiled Victorian mill town nestled in the West Pennine Moors.  We have a host of interesting Shops and Restaurants, some gaining national recognition.   There is a Heritage Society / Centre and a trail to follow the History of the area - Rambles take place regularly.  The more energetic may wish to walk up to Holcombe Village and Peel Tower on Holcombe Hill.  The town is close to the M66 and can be readily accessed by motor car, bus or East Lancashire Railway.
